An alias is a special forwarding email address that you can use to receive emails when you want to hide your private email address. The free version has a limit on the number of emails you can send via our email forwarding service. Check the limit in the subscription plan overview or the Statistics section of the app.If you want to remove the limit and get access to advanced features, upgrade to the full version.

-
Yes, aliases forward emails with attachments.
-
You can reply to emails received via your aliases. This feature is available in the full version of the app. When you reply to such an email, your reply is first sent to AdGuard Mail, which then forwards it to your correspondent. They won't see your real email address because the email is sent to them from your alias. However, your correspondent may see your real address if you have included it in your automatic signature in your email client. Please check your personal information before sending a reply.

Temporary email addresses
-
Aliases are forwarding email addresses. Messages sent to aliases are forwarded to your primary mailbox, called the recipient. To read and manage such messages, go to your primary email service.Aliases are perfect for long-term interactions. You can keep the messages in your primary mailbox for as long as you like. Deleting or disabling an alias won’t delete the messages in your primary mailbox. If you re-enable an alias, you will continue to receive messages sent to it.Temporary email addresses don’t forward emails by default. However, you can manually forward received messages to one of your confirmed recipients.Messages sent to your temporary addresses appear in your inboxes in the AdGuard Mail app.Temporary email addresses are perfect for one-time interactions, such as receiving a promo code or signing up for a trial. After receiving the desired message, you can generate a new email address. This will delete the previous address and its messages, and you won’t receive any follow-up emails.
-
You can’t reply from temporary addresses. If you expect a conversation, try using an alias instead. Replies from aliases are available in the full version.Temp mail supports email forwarding to one of your confirmed recipients. In the email details, click the forward icon in the upper right corner.
